INTERNATIONAL COTTON TRAINING CENTER

ICTC )

The ICTC established in 1980 according to  an agreement  signed between Cotton Arbitration  & Testing General Organization (CATGO) and both of United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture  Organization (FAO) on 7 th June 1978  .


The only training center in the Middle East holding cotton classification courses.


The center plays an important role in creating a qualified staff of classers and experts in Egyptian cotton sector and foreign comers from cotton growing and industrial countries.

 

The Training programs of ICTC include the theoretical and practical training in the scope of Classification, Marketing, Ginning, Fiber Testing, Moisture determination, Insurance and all other subjects covering cotton Industry.


Training programs are conducted by professors from universities , research centers staff and CATGO’ s specialists .


 Training Courses are accomplished through CATGO’s training labs. In addition to field trips to Marketing points, Ginneries, Pressing mills, Spinning &Weaving companies and different technical locations belong to CATGO.
